Still Around

Hi everyone!

I'm still around.  I spend most of my time on this site trying to keep the archive links updated for all the dying Sims 2 sites.

So, just a reminder, if you have any links for great Sims sites - Sims 2 or Sims 3 - drop me a comment here so I can check it out!  Sims 3 sites are especially appreciated, since I don't play it myself I don't have much of an idea what's out there.

Hello all!  I've been trying to find time to do more Sims-related things, and that means keeping this site updated.    One of my new projects is to go through all the listed sites and update the ones that carry Sims 3 CC to make the site more Sims CC friendly.

Site Update 04/01/10

Hi Visitors!

Just a quick note to let you know I'm still around, working on the site and re-organizing a bit. It's been a bit of a pain due to all the sites that seem to have disappeared in the last few months. I suppose it was bound to happen with the release of Sims 3 and real life and all, but it's been very disheartening to see some of my favorite sites vanish with no warning. Le sigh.

As for this site, I've been re-doing the Labels on some of the sites. The reason for this is bloggers dumb character limit on labels per post. So, I've been shortening some in the hopes of being able to add more specific labels for better searching. The biggest change is the "Clothing" labels will now be specified by gender/ age only. What that means is you can find Female Clothing under the "Female" label and Elder Clothing under the "Elder" label, and so on.

Thanks for your visits everyone!

Sims 3

Hi all!

Just a note today about Sims 3, and how it will effect this site. As of right now, I have no plans to do any active Sims 3 CC listings, since I don't currently own the game, and have no immediate plans to buy the game. If I do decide to dive into the Sims 3 pool, I'm sure I'll also do more with the Sims 3 listings. For now, I've added a "Sims 3" label to the existing sites which are doing both Sims 2 and Sims 3 content. It can be found in the labels list on the sidebar.

Here are a couple of sites to check out if you're looking for Sims 3 goodies:

GOS: Sims 3 CC and Discussion

June 24th 2009

Hi all! I know I've been updating with only random links and no pics or info -- I will fix it soon, I promise. ;)

I've been busy with other Sims stuff lately, namely, redownloading all my CC and listing it and re-doing my ancient legacy, Cursed. Also, I've been practicing eating with chopsticks, because, well, I like eating with chopsticks. I have a feeling I will be uber busy here shortly with all the Sims 2 sites that are closing now that the Sims 3 mania has begun. (boooo!) Anyway, please bear with me...recently added links will be updated with pics and descriptions soon.

Site Update

Hi all! Life's been busy and I haven't spent too much time on the site lately. I know there's several dead links, and some sort of kermuffle with the WNF sites. I have plans to spend some quality time this weeks sorting through the links, and I have some new finds to add, too! I'll post the updates as I add them.

About this site.

The massive list of links began as a team project at a forum called the Mess Hall.  When TMH's founders began to lose interest in the site, I decided to move the whole shebang here to Blogger, where I can continue to add links to my hearts content.

I have been playing the Sims for many years now, and one of the best things about the game is the online community of amazing creators - objects, skins, clothing, mods - you name it! I wanted a way to categorize and organize all these websites into one easy-to-navigate list, so here it is. To use this site, you can either start with the content lists, or use the handy "labels" function for more specialized searches. You can also use the search box at the top left-hand corner of the page for really specific items.

It should be noted that this site began as, and remains, primarily a Sims 2 list site.  If you are looking for Sims 1 or Sims 3 sites, it is best to click on the label of the same name, and browse through the site download listings that way.  I no longer play Sims 1 and I've never played Sims 3, so I'm just not that familiar with the CC available.

Also note that I only maintain descriptive labels for active sites and a handful of very unique retired sites.  Dead sites will be listed under the label, "Dead Sites," and those with archives of CC available will also have the label, "Archives."

This really is a labor of love, and my attempt to contribute to the Sims 2 Community. If any links are broken, or sites are down, please let me know in the comments section, and bear with me - I update as I have time. Thanks, and enjoy.
